Notes: The cha'bIjwI' class is the Klingon Empire's first command carrier class not based on the negh'var class spaceframe. This class uses the standard bIjwI' class design and increases its dimensions by nearly twenty percent, making this class a perfect, slightly smaller alternative to the negh'var class battleship with similar capabilities. The design of this class was done in parallel with the new Qang (Chancellor) class command cruiser, so many of the weapons and other specifications are identical in both classes. This model is a complete rebuild of the entire external hull structure of the bIjwI' class. All of its systems were rebuilt and enhanced in line with the increase in the hull dimensions.
The cha'bIjwI' class is intended, in part, as a complementary ship to the Qang class and will often be found working in conjunction with the Qang class. While smaller than the negh'var class, and with a lower weapons rating, the cha'bIjwI' class is still a substantial ship, capable of delivering a substantial punch to its targets.
