Notes: The Toron class assault shuttle is one of the most used small assault vehicles in the Klingon Empire. Its swift maneuverability makes it a very difficult target to hit during combat runs. Based on the Toron class personnel and cargo shuttles, the Toron class assault shuttle uses scatterpacks (clusters of micro-torpedoes launched at the same time from a specialized launcher in the lower forward section) and hit-and-run maneuvers as its main tactics. It can be used as a suicide shuttle by overloading its warp generator and setting the shuttle for a collision course. The Toron is intended for short-range scouting and attack and run missions. There are at least 2 of these assault shuttles stationed on every ship in the Klingon Honor Guard.
