Notes : The Chancellor class is the next generation of the vor'cha class design. Intended to be at least a match for the Federation's Sovereign class, it didn't quite make the mark, but it still outrates the Federation's Galaxy class, overall. The project was approved in 2376, and completed its first build two years later. It then went into a test phase, which lasted two more years. The Chancellor performed well in all trials, as the Klingons had learned from earlier mistakes committed on the vor'cha class. In 2380, the first of the Chancellor class's duty-grade build came out of spacedock, in the form of the IKS Gorkon.
