Notes: The Gowron Class fighter is the most widely used tactical fighter in the Klingon Empire. Its swift maneuverability makes it a very difficult target to hit during combat runs. Based, in part, on the highly successful Bird of Prey designs, the Gowron fighter shares many of the same capabilities and features of the larger ships; including multi-mode configuration wings, and disruptors mounted on the wing tips. The Gowron is intended for short-range scouting and attack and run missions. It is used in conjunction with battlecruisers, attack cruisers and Bird Of Prey ships. There are at least 2 of these fighters stationed on every ship in the Klingon Honor Guard.
