PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Kel was born on the Dral family holdings in HuD beQ yoS, Sa'Qej Sep (Flat Mountain district, Sakrej region) to B'Elona, a daughter of the House of K'Lon, and Mosh, Son of Dral.
B'Elona and Mosh served in the Klingon Diplomatic Corps, B'Elona being Mosh's personal assistant. In Kel's 5th year, B'Elona died while birthing Kel's only sibling, his sister, K'Aris.
After his parents' death in an ambush of undisclosed nature, he was sent away to a place on the far reaches of Beta quadrant, where he was taught many things, including skills to harness his telepathic abilities. He spent the next 15 years there, taking short trips to Qo'noS, Betazed and Vulcan from time to time, where he furthered his different skills.
In his 20th year, Kel decided to live in Alpha quadrant and served a short time in the human-dominated Starfleet, achieving the rank of Admiral in the once-glorious Galactic Freedom Council (GFC). This did nothing to feed his need to become acquainted with his Klingon heritage, and often led him to conflicts with the people there. However, he did meet a fierce young female, Mirra, of the now-extinct Kirian race. They married a short time later and had planned to have a family. This dream was shattered by the sudden disappearance of Mirra some years later.
In his 25th year, Kel returned to Qo'noS to reacquaint himself with his Klingon heritage. There, he decided to join the Klingon military where he excelled in the fields of tactical and security. Kel received the Rite of Ascension late in his 38th year, some 23 years overdue, at the demand of his commander, Pok Torghn.
More recently, Kel arranged to acquire the holdings of the House of Delaq, which had been previously headed by his cousin DelaqtoH, the last child of Delaq. DelaqtoH has since been named SantaI' or second leader of the House of Dral. DelaqtoH is now eligible to take over the House of Dral, should something happen to Kel.
Kel now serves the Klingon Honor Guard as its Chief of Research and Development, in charge of the technological systems in use by the fleet. He holds the rank of 'ajla' and serves the Empire in the Klingon Honor Guard under leadership of la'quv Pok. He serves as Chief of Research and Development for the Klingon Honor Guard. Kel also retains command of the ship whose class he personally designed, the IKV yoHwI'.
Upon Kel's appointment to the rank of 'ajla', the seat of his late father on the Klingon High Council was restored and he took it at that time. At that time, Kel's house was restored to major standing in the Empire, giving Kel the choice of establishing his own house under his own name at some point in the future. Kel restated his house's long-standing military alliance with the House of Torghn, led by Pok, reaffirming the blood oath taken with both Pok and S'Ha of that house at this time as well.
